The Škoda Titan Desert Almería is a multi-stage mountain bike race combining competition, adventure and camaraderie, taking amateur and professional cyclists through some of the province’s most spectacular landscapes. Its seventh edition will take place from 1 to 4 October 2026, with Mojácar becoming the event’s new main venue. The route covers 307 kilometres and approximately 6,600 metres of elevation gain across four stages, featuring coastal scenery, mountain trails, Velefique and the Tabernas Desert, in what promises to be its most technical and demanding edition in the race’s history to date.

Loop stage starting on flat ground toward Turre, climbing twice through the Sierra de Cabrera foothills, then a technical descent to the Mediterranean and a spectacular cliffside coastal trail back to Mojácar.

From Mojácar, a fast start leads to the Bedar climb via a greenway tunnel and a Buddhist temple in the Sierra de Cabrera, then a long descent to El Chive and trails through Tabernas to the Almería Circuit paddock.

Loop stage around the Almería Circuit tackling the long Alto de Velefique climb (nearly 1,000m of gain), the Škoda Challenge segment, followed by a rocky technical descent back to the circuit.

Return stage to Mojácar through solar panel fields toward Sorbas, a descent through a quarry to the Aguas River, following its trails and ramblas down to the seashore finish line.

Includes: - Full bike wash at the end of each stage. - Basic check of brakes and gears. - Access to specialized mechanics and our spare parts stock if any issue arises, at a rate of €60/hour. Not included: - Spare parts or fluids needed for your bike to work properly. - Bike assembly before the event. - Final bike packaging at the end of the race. - Repairs for breakdowns caused by wear or lack of prior maintenance. Our commitment is to be there with you at every stage, so you can focus on riding knowing you have our support for any unexpected issue.
For participants in the Titan Almeria Contact or E-Contact who would like a mechanical service at the end of the first stage —to ensure they finish the event without mechanical issues— we offer this service: a full bike check in the mechanical area at the end of the stage on October 3rd, including a wash. The bike will be left in the organization's parking area to be collected the next day in perfect condition. The service also includes, in the morning, checking tire pressure, lubrication, and any minor adjustments that may be needed. It does not include spare parts or repairs resulting from lack of maintenance; these will be charged separately. We recommend bringing the bike in good condition to minimize the risk of breakdowns.
TITAN ALMERÍA BICYCLE TRANSPORT OUTBOUND: - Drop off your bike at MASQUEBICI Sabadell (Calle Montseny nº 6) from 8am to 5pm, DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 28th. You can also send it by courier if you prefer. - Transport and delivery to the ALMERÍA paddock. RETURN: - BIKE PICK-UP at the end of the race. - Delivery to the rider at MASQUEBICI Sabadell (Calle Montseny nº 6) from 8am to 5pm FROM OCTOBER 6th.
Race mechanical service 1. The day before the first stage, we give the bike a full check and get it ready for the start of the race. Even so, we recommend arriving with your bike serviced and in good working condition to minimise risks. 2. Assistance at the start of each stage, where we check tyre pressures, grease the bike again — even though it was already greased the day before when it was put away — and finalise last-minute details. 3. Assistance at the end of each stage, where the bike is washed, greased, adjusted and repaired, so you find it in perfect condition each morning to take on the challenge. If you travel with your bike in a suitcase and need to pack it again for your return home, this service is also included. This service does not include spare parts or fluids, which will be charged to the card used to book the service. All services are subject to change due to race circumstances.
